PRACTIFY'S FEATURES

Practify is based on four ideas

followup

Effective training follow-up

Practify new skills with regular smaller tasks

Practify increases the impact of training sessions by 560% as it ensures that what is learned in training is implemented and used in the workplace. (Brinkerhoff, 2006)

Practify’s methodology uses a flexible, individual-paced, bite-sized learning process to develop new Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes (KSAs).

Challenges

Publishing weekly challenges helps build a story around the learning process and provides a rhythm for participants. A challenge groups several tasks, which are all published at once.

The force of our tasks

A range of specially designed tasks help participants to develop and share their knowledge. Each task draws on a different part of the learning process – for example, stimulating a part of the brain, or accelerating community learning – to engage participants and increase effectiveness.

gamification

Gamification

for engagement and enjoyable learning

Practify is based on the principles of gamification, which have been shown to motivate participants to improve performance, encourage social learning and create a growth mindset.

Gameboard

Players’ progress is shown on a gameboard where they reach different milestones before crossing the finishing line. Learning is fun and encourages participants to continue their self-development.

Collecting gems and points

As part of the game, players collect gems and points by solving tasks. Different levels of performance are indicated with different colours. You can get top marks by solving all tasks in the challenge.

social-learning

Social learning

for inspiration and collective wisdom

Practify uses familiar social media functions to boost social interaction and create a learning community.

Sharing experiences (solutions)

By filtering and browsing the content they have generated, players inspire each other to try out new ideas. This collective knowledge helps all members to grow individually.

Commenting and asking

By commenting, participants can start conversations, encourage each other, provide feedback and ask questions (“How did you do that?”).

reporting

Measuring and reporting

for transparent results

Practify provides tangible results by recording and evaluating all activities and data created online. It easily monitors how participants complete their action plans.

Group progress

A statistical analysis showing the practical benefits and effects of training courses ensures total transparency.

The results of training courses can be evaluated under various criteria: levels of satisfaction, learning, application and business results.

Individual progress

The effectiveness of training courses can be measured in real-time with the progress bar. Individual learning results can also be reviewed by assessing the quality of each participant’s work.
